The Smoky Bandit is a 500-gallon competition-grade offset built to feed a crowd that does not stop arriving. This is the trailer version — the one that goes to the crowd instead of waiting for it.
Trailer-mounted, the Bandit travels to competitions, festivals, catering jobs and the far end of a farm. Everything that makes the pit work travels with it: the 2.2m stainless table folds away, the smoke stack folds down for clearance, and the rig sets up wherever you park it.
Underneath, this is a serious offset. A 76cm ceramic-fibre insulated firebox with a 5cm insulation wall holds a clean fire in the cold and the wind. A tuned baffle plate and heat deflector even out the temperature from the firebox end to the stack end, so the brisket at the far end finishes with the brisket at the near end. Six Tel-Tru thermometers mean you are reading the chamber rather than guessing at it. Six low-profile grates across three tiers give you over 5m² of cooking surface — enough to run a service, not just a weekend.
Choose the trailer if you cater, you compete, or the pit has to be in more than one place. If it lives in one spot, the Smoky Bandit — Skids is the same pit for 30,000 dirhams less.
A note on towing: the towing attachment is intended for site movement. Do not exceed 5km/h and do not tow over slopes or steep grades. RTA-legal certified trailers are available as a custom design option — ask us.
