A lit chimney is a searing-hot object that has to go somewhere. This is where it goes.
The Fire Chimney Holder mounts into the modular accessory system on The Mini and The Tejano and holds the Dragao on the grill — while it is lighting, while you are searing on it, and while it cools down afterwards. That is ten to twenty minutes at the start of every cook, and again every time you top up the coals.
The alternative is what everyone does instead: the patio, a paving slab, a spare grate, the ground. Decking scorches. Dry grass catches. Concrete can spall when it heats fast. And a chimney balanced on a couple of bricks with a steak on top of it is a tipping hazard with your dinner riding on it.
It costs less than the table top you would otherwise ruin, and it is the only mount built specifically around the Dragao's octagonal body.
